Nathan Kidwell

Nathan came on board for the second time in June of 2010.  He served as the youth minister at Summerdale for nearly 4 years before going to Mobile to preach for approximately 4 years.  He attended Freed Hardeman University and has served congregations in GA, AL, and TN.  Nathan and Fran met while they were both members of the East Ridge Church of Christ in TN.  They have been married since May of 1993 and have three children:  Rachael (16), Nate (12), and Jayson (7).  Fran is actively involved with the Bible School program at Summerdale.  She also helps Nathan with the activities for the young adults and young children.  She homeschools their three children and also works as a realtor.  Nathan teaches the young adult class, leads singing, preaches two Sundays a month and plans activities for the young adults and their families.  Nathan, Fran and the kids are excited to be back "home" with the Summerdale congregation.  No bio or description of Nathan would be complete without noting he bleeds Georgia Bulldog Red!
